PS-9-12

PS-9-12 is the first device in the AMT product line designed to provide multiple effects pedals or preamps with quality power supply.

PS-9-12 is particularly useful on the pedalboard as it allows to replace a set of adapters with a single handy little device.

While developing the PS-9-12 we intended to minimize the noise levels introduced by the device, thus the power transformer circuit inside, which, despite its quite a large size, weight and heat transfer in comparison with low-cost switching power supplies, is able to provide maximum stabilized output voltage.

The device functionality includes:

•  Two groups, each having 5 outputs with DC 9V output; the maximum total current volume of each group is no more than 1A; the diameter of the central connector contact - 2mm.

•  One group with two DC 12V outputs; the maximum total current is less than 1A; the diameter of the central connector contact - 2mm

•  One connector with AC 15V power supply; maximum current is 1A; the diameter of the central contact - 2.5mm.

PS-9-12 is equipped with the internal circuit cooling system with a fan which is engaged only when the internal temperature increases. In this way we managed to obtain the minimum noise level of the device at moderate loads and maximum efficiency and compactness of the device at maximum power output.

The device has a switch to GND ON-OFF which allows the electrically separate the low-voltage output ground connection and the device housing, resulting, in some cases, in the reduction of noise and interferences present in the sound tract of connected pedals.

The device can be produced both for European mains standards (220-230V/50Hz), and for countries using 100-120V/50-60Hz mains.
