AMT SS-30 & Tube Cake

AMT SS-30 is a 3-channel JFET-based tube overdrive modeling device with full parameters visualization. The device allows for simultaneous and separate use of two outputs to a mixer's line input and an amp's RETURN. The serial FX loop can be used for external effect pedals connection. With external MIDI converter (e.g. AMT FS-2MID) linked to the special connector the device can be combined with external MIDI devices. AMT SS-30 features low energy consumption from 18V DC power adapter or two 9V batteries.

Whille creating a lightweight and compact TUBECAKE amplifiers, AMT focused primarily on implementing the basic features of a tube amp using semiconductor component base but without the drawbacks such as high cost, large size and weight, and the need for periodic tube replacement (up to 2 - times a year). The most prominent features, which make the sound of tube amplifiers so peculiar have been thoroughly implemented by the engineers of the company in the TUBECAKE.
