NU-NATION was formed in 2009 in St.Petersburg, Russia by the members of several local bands. They wished to play groove/nu-metal inspired by SoulFly/Sepultura, Ektomorf, Machine Head. In two years Nu-Nation has performed dozens of hurricane live metal shows in St.Petersburg and other locations.

Now Maiden and Corey use AMT LA B1 preamp. Here are their comments on account of this event:

"For a long period of time we were looking for overdrive pedals we could use on our shows. Scarcely ever in clubs you can find adequate guitar amplifiers. It can happen you have to play directly in mixer, that's why the major criterion was their good sounding with any backline. We have tried lots of different pedals - from expensive tube preamps till reasonable distortion pedals. Most of them were extremely exacting to a power amp and all the more to play in-line was out of the question. Other ones dissatisfied us by their sound.
AMT Legend Amps series preamps perfectly sound with any amp while keeping their tonal characteristic. Auditioning pedals of this line we at once decided in favour of LA B1: very powerfull and fat sound pressing through the mix by its weight was excellent for our music. Now we use AMT LA B1 preamps not only on the shows but on the rehearsals also despite availability of good tube amps.
