Alexander Strelnikov is a guitarist of Moscow suburbs band TANTAL. The audacity, skillfulness and innovation of their first album called The Beginning of the End issued by Mazzar Records immediately attracted the attention of critics and music-lovers. TANTAL’s sound is an original mix of Progressive, Death, Thrash and Modern Metal spiced with gloomy conceptual lyrics. Superhigh-speed but expressive guitar solos are performed in the best traditions of Dream Theater and Yngwie J. Malmsteen and frantic female scream-growl followed by pure singing leaves nobody indifferent!

TANTAL has busy tour schedule, so Alexander prefers using AMT Electronics products on stage: “I’ve been using AMT Electronics Legend Series preamps for every concert during several years and I’m entirely satisfied. The fail-safe equipment gives me quality sound regardless of the gear I use. Currently, I’m armed with AMT E1 Engl Fireball and AMT P1 Peavey 5150 emulators.
